Area Maximizing Algorithm

First experiment in a while (and of the summer). Its easy to place random stuff on screen, but actually getting to place them in a sort of controlled way is a lot trickier than I imagined. Here’s a crack at an algorithm that maximizes the available space in a given area. For variety, click on the artwork to change the minimum particle size. I’m really starting to like patterns, especially the ones I see on Victorian and other old buildings here in SF, need to take more photos. You can download the commented source if you feel like it.
